About

tilt your head and look up
at the sky with your own eyes
it's beautiful here

reading a book
feeling the warmth spread through your body
it's beautiful here

waking up to a new day
and all its possibilities unfolding
it's beautiful here

creating a world with words and pictures
inhibited only by the limits of our imagination
it's beautiful here.

this is life
it's beautiful here

sometimes i wish i could just be in a perpetual hug.

if i could only repeat one action continuously for the rest of my life, it wouldn’t be sleeping or eating or bathing or even reading.

i’m pretty much basically one hundred percent positive it’d be hugging.

Its the craziest thing, knowing that a boy likes you.

you’d think i’d get over it since we havent talked about it since May 19th.

The best thing about friends you make on the internet is that they’re often sitting around at home being sad and/or awkward on Friday and Saturday nights, too.

i was having a not so good day and i couldn’t decide between caramel and chocolate. so i was talking with the really cute, funny, sweet starbucks guy with indie glasses and he kept laughing at me.  i finally decided to go with caramel. when he handed me my drink he said.. sorry, i accidently put some chocolate in there. is that okay..?

i like that.

When I got home today, I went into my room and the first thing I saw was a bouquet of red and white roses. The second thing I saw was a bowl with a ribbon tied around it. There were like six or seven spotted goldfish swimming around. On the bowl it said, “Happy Birthday, love.” It was from my brother.
My mom got me this raspberry stuff I had mentioned I liked. Plus, she made me strawberries and pound cake. My dad called me this morning cus he was gone somewhere to tell me happy birthday and that he loved me. My little sister got me a sweater that I’ve been wanting for ages and wrote me a precious card. To quote it—“You’re cool, stylish, mean, nice, and caring. I’m glad to be your sister.”
I sat on my bed and cried cus I was so suprised and completely happy.
I’m so ungrateful and restless sometimes. I complain nearly nonstop about how much I can’t wait to get away from here and be on my own. It’s precious things like this that remind me that I have all I will ever need right here. I know in a couple days I’ll be uncontent and desperate again, but for right now, I am beautifully and simply content.

happy birthday! that sounds so lovely <3

Do you think I’m wonderful? she asked him one day as they leaned against the trunk of a petrified maple. No, he said. Why? Because so many girls are wonderful. I imagine hundreds of men have called their loves wonderful today, and it’s only noon. You couldn’t be something that hundreds of others are.
